Sandra Wheeler

Sandra Wheeler, 73, of Girard, died at 10:23 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at her residence at rural Girard.

Sandra was born March 20, 1948 in Pittsburg, a daughter of Max and Pauline (McClarron) Davidson. Sandra grew up in Arcadia and graduated from Arcadia High School.

She owned and operated a housekeeping service for many years.
Sandra married William D. “Ching” Wheeler on December 3, 1992 in Girard. Bill preceded her in death on December 23, 2010.








She was a member of the Open Door Fellowship in Arcadia and the Ladies Auxiliary at the George C. Brown Post No. 26, American Legion of Girard.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Bryant (Stacy) of Parsons and Micky Bryant (Jodee) of Arma; her mother of Liberal, Missouri; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jim Davidson (Regina) of Arma; her sister, Cheryl Budd (Elmer) of Liberal.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Brandon Bryant; a brother, Jack Davidson.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard with Reverend Roy Widmar officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Arcadia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home where friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Ladies Auxiliary at the George C. Brown Post No. 26 in Girard and these may be left at the funeral home at 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
