Quentin Clayton

Quentin Loren Clayton, age 69 of Ozark, died August 5, 2022. He was born May 20, 1953 in Lockwood, Missouri, the son of Loren and Joann Clayton.

Quentin grew up o a farm in Lockwood. He played in the band at Lockwood High School. After graduating from Lockwood High School, Quentin attended Southwest Baptist University. He was a member of Sac River Cowboy Church. Quentin was an accomplished photographer. He owned and operated Dr. Quentin’s Olde Tyme Photos in Branson.






 

Quentin and Ruby Baird became friends in 2013 and were always together shopping and cooking new recipes. Ruby would “woo-hoo” when she wanted him to help her. Quentin took such good care of Ruby when she needed him the most. Quentin also loved Ruby’s “morkie” dog named Becky, even though she bit him on the nose!

Quentin was also a collector of most anything. He loved thrift stores. He and Ruby made the rounds, coming home with many “treasures.”

Survivors include: Ruby Baird and her family; two nephews; and a host of good friends.








Quentin was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Selmore Cemetery, Ozark. Friends are invited to pay their respects at their convenience from 9:00 A.M. until 5 P.M. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 and before the graveside service on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
