(From Parker Mortuary)Roy Blackadar Sinclair, Jr., age 76, El Paso, Texas, died on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Roy was born on November 19, 1945 in El Paso, son of the late Roy Blackadar Sinclair, Sr. and Louise (Hearn) Sinclair.
Raised in El Paso, he took several courses at community college before joining the United States Marine Corp and serving in Vietnam. He dedicated his life to serving others as a firefighter, retiring as a Lieutenant with the El Paso Fire Department.
He was a member of the VFW and a lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America. He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in El Paso, and Faith Baptist Church in Joplin.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Sinclair Haan.

Survivors include his brother, Gary Sinclair (Lee) of Nova Scotia, Canada; and his close friend, Kurt Hopson and wife Patricia of Joplin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
