(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Thomas Wesley Murie, 72, of Wentworth, Missouri entered into eternal rest on Wednesday August 10, 2022 while at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on March 6, 1950 in Provo, Utah; the son of the late Wilbur Cloyd and Cora (Jenson) Murie.
He was united in marriage on January 5, 1980 to his wife Jean in Los Angeles, California.
He was a retired hearing instrument specialist and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett.
Thomas is survived by his wife Jean of the home; one son: David Wesley Murie and his wife Becky of La Grande, Oregon; three daughters: Debbie Murie of Springfield, Missouri, Heidi Graves and her husband Dewayne of Jackson, Mississippi, and Chrissy Murie of Wentworth, Missouri; one sister: Linda Odom of California and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Cora and one brother.
Memorial services are being held on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at 7:00p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
