Andrea Angel

Andrea Kaye Angel, age 51, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at her home.

Andrea was born on May 19, 1971, in Joplin to the late James Turner and Jacqueline Kaye (Sickelbower) Boothe. She is a lifelong Joplin resident and current owner/operator of the Redings Mill Inn. She was a 1989 graduate of Joplin High School. 

 

She was previously employed for years at Beefmaster’s and worked alongside her mother and stepfather for many years at Wallpaper Works. Andrea was a devoted mother to her two children, and she sure loved her dog, Lucy. Her loving, giving, and caring spirit will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Survivors include her children, Ashley Angel, and her wife, Chelsie, of Joplin, and Jeremy Angel, also of Joplin; her grandchildren, Xavier De La Vega, Alex De La Vega, and Lexi Angel; her brothers, Jason Turner, and his wife, Julie, of Carl Junction, Matthew Turner, and his wife, May, of France, and Ethan Turner, of Bend, OR; her stepfather, Dennis Boothe, of Carthage; her Fiancé, Jeff Frakes, of Joplin; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin with private family inurnment at a later date at Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 5:00 PM on Tuesday until service time.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
