(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Lena Lorene Thomas of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, January 30, 2023 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 82.
Lena was born January 15, 1941 in Miami, OK to Johnathan Franklin and Fredia (Stevens) Mullin. She had lived in the Miami area most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, OK.
Lena married Theodore “Ted” Thomas March 23, 1957 in North Miami, OK. He preceded her in death November 10, 2010.
She was also preceded by 1 son, Jeffery S. Thomas, her parents and 2 brothers, Hugh I. Berryman and Jack Berryman.
Survivors includes 3 sons, Theodore L. Thomas of Sierra Vista, AZ, Michael J. Thomas of Miami, OK and Robert J. Thomas and wife Nadia of Fort Worth, TX, 1 sister, Letha Cole of Seneca, MO, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, OK. Pastor Dwight Moeller will officiate.
