(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, 85, Grove OK, passed away on January 21, 2023, at Grandwood Assisted Living, Grove OK.
Mary Elizabeth Hembree was born June 05, 1937, in Colorado Springs, CO. the daughter of John B. Hembree and Edna B. (Scott) Hembree. Mary worked for Eagle Picher in Seneca, Mo. She attended church at the Grove First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo every chance she could.
Mary Elizabeth Hembree married Claude Hamilton on January 12, 1956, in Neosho, Mo. and he preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents John and Edna Hembree, son John Hamilton, great-granddaughters Alexis Hembree and Coralline Ball, and brother-in-law Robert Redden.
Survivors include son Mark Hamilton; three daughters, Brenda Bridges and husband Doug Bridges; Sharon Bridges and husband Michael Bridges; and Dana Smith. Two brothers, Danny Hembree; Raymond Hembree and wife Pam Hembree; two sisters, Susan Walton and husband Ron Walton, and Gloria Redden; including seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of life memorial visitation will be held at 10:00 am to 11:00am, Saturday, January 28, 2023, in the chapel at Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home in Seneca, Mo.
