(From Midland Cremation Society)Violet May (McLean) Hodges went on to be with the LORD Jan 14, 2023. She was 81 years old. The daughter of Thomas A McLean and Goldie I (Spicer) McLean.
Her survivors are son Butch Hodges of Joplin, daughter Toni (Robert) Lucas of Neosho and daughter Pam (Jimmie) Dunlap of Jasper, MO. Dale W Hodges of Oronogo, MO. She had 9 grand children, Natasha, Tia (Tony), DJ,(Beth), Jackie (Travis), Sarah (Brad), Brittany (Dagen), Josh, Carmen (Steven), Ana (Aaron).
Violet had 19 great grandchildren. McKenna, Jakiya, Tyler, Emily, Evelyn, Annabel, Ruby, Levi, Trenton, Aubree, Summer, Emersyn, Lucas, David (Trinity), Sterling, Stephanie, Aumi, Aven, Lucas. And two great great grand children. Jonathan and Dustin.
She loved her family and her church families. There was always room in her car for more to go to church with her. She loved gospel music and teaching the gospel tunes to her grand children and great grandchildren! She was a Girl Scout, she enjoyed helping with the summer camps.
She was loved by her many nephews and nieces, and their families! She loved them all so much!
