(From Ozark Funeral Home)Peggy Cole, age 81, of Pineville, Missouri, departed to join the Lord and family on January 21, 2023. She was born in Granby, MO on April 5, 1941 to the late Clifton and Erma Lou (Peters) Stafford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Cole, her beloved daughter, Teresa Arehart and her sister, Judy Stafford.
Peggy’s life was full of love and laughter. Always an independent woman, Peggy was ahead of her time when it came to craftsmanship. She was renovating and flipping houses in the 70’s and 80’s before the trend became popular.
She took pride in homemaking, cooking and being a jack-of-all-trades. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being outdoors. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Peggy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her son, Jeff Hartley and her daughter, Paje Hartley Newell; her sister, Patsy Gregory and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
There will be a private celebration of Peggy’s life at a later date.
