Elijah Ragain

Elijah Steven Ragain, 43, of Joplin, MO, formerly of Columbus, KS passed away on January 19, 2023 at his apartment in Joplin.

He was born December 2, 1979 to Robert Steven and Lisa Ann (Offill) Ragain in Pittsburg, KS.

Elijah served in the United States Army as a field medic. He helped many people both here and overseas. He worked border patrol between North and South Korea for a year and a half during his time overseas and spent a great deal of his time serving as a medic on base while stationed at Ft. Hood, in Kaleen, Tx.








Survivors include; 2 sisters; Heather Ragain of Webb City, MO, Angela Forrest and husband Adam of Webb City, MO, 2 nieces; Sophia Ragain, Gracie Forrest, 2 nephews; Brayden Prauser, Gabriel Forrest and grandfather; Ralph Offill of Columbus, KS, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandfather; Bobbie Ragain, paternal grandmother; Barbara Ragain, maternal Grandmother; Carolyn Crabtree and husband Bill Crabtree, and his cousin Nancy Northup and Ralph Offill's wife, Jane Offill.








Memorial Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Columbus, KS, inurnment will follow at Edgmand Cemetery, Columbus, KS.

Family will receive friends at 10 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
