(From Midland Cremation Society)John Dewey Raines, 76 of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday morning, January 22, 2022, at home surrounded by Family after his long battle with Cancer.
John entered this life on April 5, 1946, in McDonald County, Missouri, son of the late Milo and Martha (McGarrah) Raines. He was raised in Goodman and was a 1964 graduate of Goodman High School. He was the owner of Raines Trailor Park and previously employed by International Papers in Joplin, Missouri,
He loved Coon Hunting, he had lots of Trophies, Fast Cars, and that Loving laugh of his.
John is survived by one son John Jr., Kassie Granby, Mo two daughters, Tamara Workman, Joplin Mo and Laura Raines, Terry, Neosho, Mo; A sister, Jane Barker of Joplin, Missouri
John is preceded in death by Milo Raines - Father, Martha McGarrah - Mother, his wife, Alma June Raines on July 7,2017.
