(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home) Dorothy M. Eidson, 86, Carl Junction passed into eternal rest January 26, 2023 at the Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, MO after an illness.
Dorothy Marie Marris was born in Neosho, MO, February 4, 1936 the daughter of William A. and Marthel I. (Sanders) Marris.Dorothy was a homemaker is enjoyed being with her family. She loved her cat and going shopping. She was a very private lady. She was a sweet and caring mother and grandmother. Dorothy will be missed greatly by her family.
Dorothy M. Marris married John R. Eidson, September 30, 1954 in Neosho, MO and he preceded her in death August 3, 2021. She was also preceded in death by one son, John William Eidson and one sister RuthAnn Homier.
Survivors include his sons, Homer Eidson, Rapid City, SD, Jerry Eidson, Seneca, MO and Judd Eidson, Joplin, MO; One brother, Jerry Marris and wife Kim, Seneca,MO; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. The family will be hold a Celebration of Life graveside service at the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery, February 5, 2023 at 1 PM with Truman Brady Officiating.
