(From Parker Mortuary)Wanda June Bechhold, age 97, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was born July 31, 1925 in Webb City, MO and was welcomed to her heavenly home January 13, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.L. Bechhold, Jr., her parents, Charles E. “Bud” Shuey and mother, Valentine (Cole) Shuey; sons, Craig Bechhold and Kevin Bechhold; granddaughter, Cynthia Hawkins, great-grandson, Jacob Warden; sister, Patsy Holden, niece, Kathy Fiery; and beloved son-in-law, Keith Robertson.
She is survived by son, Dennis Bechhold and wife Donna of San Antonia, Texas; daughters, Carol Robertson of West Monroe, Louisiana and Teresa Hill of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Wanda June and her husband A.L. loved the Lord and were blessed to serve at Calvary Baptist Church of Joplin for many years where she sang in the choir and her husband, A.L. served as treasurer and deacon. She was loved by all who were blessed to have known her. She was a beautiful, loving, gracious woman who always had time for everyone and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Phillip McClendon officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
