(From Clark Funeral Home)Joyce McVay, 88, Diamond, Missouri, entered into rest on January 27, 2023 in Neosho. Joyce was born October 11, 1934 in Newton County, Missouri, one of seven children to Onal Hobart and Catherine (Carr) Kimbrough.
She graduated from Diamond High School and worked as an administrative assistant at Vickers in Joplin. She enjoyed RV traveling, fishing, boating and being at the lake. She was a member of the Diamond Christian Church.
Joyce and Kenneth Dille were married on September 19, 1968 in Carthage, Missouri and he preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1973.
In 1977, she married Wayne McVay and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2020.
Joyce is survived by her children, Brent Kelley of Granby; Lisa Kelley of Vian, Oklahoma; Mike McVay of Miami, Oklahoma, Curtis McVay and wife, Debra of Bluejacket, Oklahoma and Kim Smith of Vinita, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Glen Kimbrough, Howard Kimbrough, Lavonna Beaver, June Patrick, Dorothy Donoho and her twin sister, Janet Greninger.
Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Pastor Keith Brumfield will officiate. Interment will follow in the Diamond Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home.
