(From Clark Funeral Home)Darren Buttram, St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Neosho, entered into rest on January 5, 2023, in Neosho at the age of 62. Darren was born May 11, 1960, in Kittery, Maine. He graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1978.
Following his high school graduation, Darren moved to California, where he lived for a short time before returning to Neosho to continue his associate's degree at Crowder College. He was awarded a scholarship at Washington University in St. Louis, and he moved there and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business.
While in St. Louis, he had a successful career in real estate. He followed his dream to live in Cabo and moved there, able to continue to run his business for eight years before returning to St. Louis in June of 2022.
Darren was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan; he enjoyed exploring the Mexican culture and playing trivia and golf.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Brewer of Neosho; his father, Charles W. Buttram of Joplin; one sister, Susie Jones of Neosho; one brother, Chas Buttram of Neosho; a sister, Rita Burton of Florida and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard Brewer, and his grandparents.
At Darren's request, there will be no formal services.
