Elvin Euldene Mell, born on January 19, 1927, in Bronaugh, Missouri, was a man who lived his life with a vitality. He passed away on October 4, 2023. Elvin was a dedicated truck driver, most notably for his time at DynoNobel in Joplin, Missouri, before retiring in 1990.

Elvin was a swing dancer with a spring in his step, a lover of old-time country music, and an ardent fan of the St Louis Cardinals.

Elvin is survived by his daughter Carole White, and son-in-law, James White, and his life companion of over 23 years, Sue Love.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Maude Mell and his wife, Peggy. His life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Mt Hope Cemetery Pavilion in Webb City.

Elvin left a mark on everyone he met and his spirit will continue to live on through the memories we share. As we remember Elvin, let’s celebrate his life and cherish the times we spent with him. His vibrant spirit, love for life, and his dancing shoes will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
