(From Parker Mortuary)Daniel “Dan” Jim DeLeon, age 83, of Joplin, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Dan was born on September 20, 1940 in Victoria, TX to the late union of Seferino and Felecita (Penã) DeLeon.
He married the love of his life, Mary Pennington on June 3, 1983. Dan and Mary were blessed with 39 years before Mary’s passing on October 28, 2022.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Denise Robertshaw and husband Roger; two step-daughters, Sherry Bryant and husband, Rick and Carrie O’Keefe and wife, Violet; four granddaughters and 1 grandson.
Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
