LaReah Kirk

Katrina LaReah Kirk, born July 21, 1923 in her home in Noel, Missouri to the late Floyd & Eva Kirk.

LaReah entered into rest October 11, 2023 after a long life, celebrating her 100th birthday recently, living independently & driving up until that day!

LaReah was born & raised up on a family farm in Noel, graduated from Noel High School in 1941, and then moved to Joplin where she worked at Meekers. 

Later, LaReah worked as a secretary at an insurance company until she retired to care for her parents. LaReah enjoyed being on the river at their family camp ground in Noel with her family & friends. She enjoyed poetry, fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, sewing, and shopping for a good bargain. She was a member of the Saint John's Prestige Club, Stroke Club for Freeman, and numerous other clubs.

She was a wealth of knowledge of the past 100 years, she was loved and will be truly missed! Until we meet again my friend, I’m sure you are talking Jesus’s ear off!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd & Eva (Mooney) Kirk; her sister, Levita (Maxine) Kirk Dorman; and nephew, Jerry (Stan) Dorman.
