Mike Estes

Michael Lee Estes was born December 21, 1953, and gained his wings on October 9, 2023.

Mike was loved by many people; he never met a stranger. Mike was a storyteller and loved to sing. He recently re-dedicated his life to Jesus.

\Mike was united in marriage to Nancy White on January 24, 1988. He was a member of the Christ’s Church of Oronogo. Mike has been a lifelong truck driver, along with jack-of-all trades. Mike worked hard for his family.






 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Sterling Estes and grandmother Myrtle Estes who raised him. His in-laws by whom he was very loved by, Earl C. White and Carmen L White. Mike was a larger-than-life family man.

He is survived by his soulmate of 44 years (wife of 35 yrs.) Nancy (White) Estes, seven children (and spouses), sons David R. Peck (Janet), bonus son, Leonard G. Winans (Sammie), Shawn E. White Sr. (Tamra), James L. Estes (Krystal) and adopted son, Hunter L. Winans; daughters Chana L. (Estes) Martin (Kevin) and Samantha A. (Estes) Harvey (Ryan), seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren (4th on the way).






 

Family will be having a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Christ’s Church of Oronogo starting at 10:00 a.m. with Jim Wickenkamp officiating.
