Joanne Wiley

Joanne Elaine Wiley, aged 83, peacefully passed away on October 13, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1940, to her parents, Wilburn T. Cain and Allie Belle Hittle, in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Joanne's journey in life was marked by academic achievement. She earned her Master's degree in Psychology, which became the foundation for her career as a psychologist. She owned and operated offices in Springfield, Goodman, and Joplin, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many.








Her family was her greatest joy, and she especially cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren. Joanne is survived by her four loving sons: David Wiley and his wife Shelley of Carthage, Tim Wiley and his wife Brenda of Joplin, Jeff Wiley and his wife Kasey of Neosho, and Daniel Wiley and his wife Lara of Joplin. Her brother, Gene Cain of Fort Worth, Texas, and sister, Betty Pitcherello of Woodward, Oklahoma, were important figures in her life. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and friends.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, as well as two brothers, Jim and Bob Cain.








A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together to honor and remember the impact she had on their lives.

Joanne Elaine Wiley will be remembered for her dedication to her profession and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
