Jack Hubbard

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Jack was born in Goodman, Missouri, one of three sons to Mike and Jennie Hubbard on June 24, 1944, at the family home in Goodman, Missouri. He graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1962. He served his country in the U.S. Army, from 1967-1962.

Jack was an industrial engineer and had worked both domestically and internationally in the steel industry and power plants. He was the president of an industrial piping company. He traveled extensively throughout his career and made many friends around the world.

He was a helicopter and private pilot for over thirty years and in a one-time adventure he flew a twin-engine plane to India for an Indian businessman. Jack was a people person and impacted many people. His political beliefs were very conservative, and he wasn’t afraid to share his convictions. He enjoyed all of life’s experiences.

After a successful career in engineering, Jack returned to the family farm and raised cattle. He had pride in the heritage of the farm and it being a Century farm and would be celebrating it’s 125th year anniversary in 2024. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

On January 27, 1968, in Neosho, Jack and Judy (Rice) were united in marriage and Judy survives.

In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, Jack is survived by one daughter, Molly Trimble and husband, David of Neosho; two granddaughters, Fallon Trimble and Charli Trimble; nephew, Jerry David Hubbard of Neosho; sister-in-law, Janice Rice of Lamar, Missouri; niece, Chelsey Rice of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and nephew, Todd Rice of Jerome, Idaho.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Hubbard and Jerry Hubbard.
