Donna Magee

In loving memory of Donna June Magee, daughter of the late Loyal Mosbaugh and Eunice (Womack) Mosbaugh, Donna was born in Carl Junction, Missouri and passed away at her home at the age of 80. 

After graduating from Carl Junction High School in 1961 she went to Pittsburg State College then went on to Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri graduating in 1976. Donna began working for Women's Employment Network of KCMO assisting and coaching women in their job search. 

Donna and Lee Magee were united in marriage in 1995 and were inseparable until his passing in 2015. 

Donna started her passion for bridge in 1961 becoming, some would say the best women bridge player in the Northwest Kansas area, achieving the rank of Emerald Life Master as a member of the American Bridge Contract League. She also liked flower gardening and was an avid book reader but she loved her Shih Tzu dogs as members of her family, all five of them throughout the years. 

Survivors include her cousins Steven E Smith and wife CarLeen of KCMO; Terry Olerich and her husband Ken of Colorado; nephews Craig Smith and family; Scott Smith and family; Mark Smith and family; Niece Kim Shay and family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on 10/24/23 from 4pm-6pm at Conroy's Public House 5285 W. 95th St. Overland Park, Ks. 66207 We appreciate your many kindnesses, thoughts and deed.
