Mary Bivins

Mary Alice Bivins, age 71, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Missouri.

She was born June 25, 1952 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Robert Shearer, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Angelina Hernandez and her husband JC of Purdy, Missouri, Lolita Arias and her husband Gabriel of Jackson, Mississippi and Needia Bivins of Fairview, Missouri and 11 grandchildren.

Mary moved to Purdy, Missouri 11 years ago coming from Kansas. Playing board games was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved reading romance novels and dancing but most of all she loved being with her family.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
