(From Stumpff Funeral Home)Jody Len Farley, 52, departed this life on September 28, 2023. Jody was born February 15, 1971, to Shirley (Gray) Farley and F.L. “Shavey” Farley.
Jody attended Galena public schools and was the first in his family to achieve a college degree when he earned a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Business from Missouri State University.
Jody was a business owner who cared deeply about his community and about creating working opportunities for young men in the community. Farley Spa Company was a first job for many young men in the area and he was a friend and mentor to each person he hired.
Jody met the love of his life, Lesley (Myers) Farley of Greenfield, and they married in 2005. Together they made their home most of their lives in Clever, MO and recently in Greenfield. Jody and Lesley welcomed five teenagers from Ecuador into their lives and served as their parents as they each studied abroad here in the United States. He was prouder than words can express to be “dad” to Jessika, Jeremy, Dariana, Keyla and Mariu.
Jody was especially close to his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Farley Lawrence “Shavey” Farley and is survived by his wife, Lesley; his mom, Shirley Farley; sister, Karen Brundridge and her husband, Randy; Brother, Rick Farley and his wife, Angela; nieces and nephews, Contessa, Wesley, Jessica, Abbey, Austin, Lindsey and Erica. He is also survived by twelve great nieces and nephews along with close friends too numerous to list that he considered family.
Jody battled his long illness courageously and without fear and fought to enjoy each day with Lesley and his family. He has been finally released from his pain and has won eternity. We will miss his smile, his goofy personality and the way he loved us all so deeply and unconditionally.

A visitation will be held at River Bluff Fellowship Church, (2655 E Farm Road 188) Ozark, MO from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Scott Watson officiating. Burial will be in Daughtrey Cemetery in South Greenfield, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO. Dinner and fellowship will be held at the Farley Farm Friday Evening.
In lieu of flowers and plants, a fund to support future foreign exchange students is being established.
