(From Clark Funeral Home)Betty Lou Landreth, aged 91, passed away on November 4, 2023. She was born on January 12, 1932, in Granby, Missouri, to Ralph and Nellie White.
Betty dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She found joy in engaging in activities such as word games, puzzles, bowling, and playing cornhole. But her greatest delight came from spending time with her grandchildren, sharing precious memories that will be cherished for generations. She was a faithful member of the Baptist Church, where her spirit and kindness shone.
Betty was united in marriage to Jerry W. Landreth on November 21, 1948, in Granby, MO. They shared many beautiful years until his passing on December 29, 1997.
Betty is survived by her adored children, Debbie Quick and husband Mike of Joplin, MO, Jerry Landreth II and wife Sindy of Virden, IL, and Mark Landreth and wife Denise of Altoona, IA. Her legacy continues through thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and six step-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom White and wife Esther, Sharon MeLees, and husband Phillip, all of Granby, MO.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry, a brother Jack White, a sister Mary Nichols, and an infant sister Anna Louise White.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, November 8, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with a graveside service at Granby Memorial Cemetery.
Betty Lou Landreth will be fondly remembered for her love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
