(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Lessialee Deaver, age 88 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday November 6, 2023.
She was born March 27, 1935 in Joplin, Missouri to Roy Goldie (Friend) Riley.
Lessialee was a cook and retired from Joplin R-8 Schools. She enjoyed quilting, crochet, and fishing. She attended Living Waters Church.
She married Ray Deaver and he survives. She is also survived by one son Ray Deaver Jr., two daughters, Carol Watkins,
and Debroah Thurman, one brother Jim Riley, one sister Lenora Chew, nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Lessialee was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Deaver, Ricky Deaver, one daughter, Lucinda Winters, four sisters, Treva Cloud, Flora Valve, Violet Huckeberry and Elenora.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday November 10, 2023 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Troy Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery Galena, Kansas. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 pm Thursday at the mortuary.
