(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Bobby Lyle Osborn, 89, of Wentworth, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was born on Sunday, August 4, 1935, in LaRussell, Missouri to the union of Paul and Pearl (Cole) Osborn. He was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and earned the rank of Staff Sergeant.
On August 23, 1954, he married the love of his life, Elva Irene Neal. Together they shared forty-seven wonderful years of memories until her passing on June 24, 2001. For his career, Bobby owned and operated service stations as well as rental properties. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, traveling and attending ball games. Bobby will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; siblings, Colleena Nimsick, Anna Lee Tillock and Paulette Cooper.
Bobby is survived by his children, Cindy Pennington and husband, Dale of Wentworth, Bobby White and husband, Steve, of Granby, Connie Williams and husband, Scott of Wentworth and Rodger Osborn and wife, Traci also of Wentworth; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Barnes of Sarcoxie; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services with full military honors are 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Sarcoxie Cemetery with Pastor Mike Neal officiating.
