(From Clark Funeral Home)Bobby Dean Peters, 70, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on March 24, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1954, in Neosho to Melvin and Vera (Sitler) Peters.
Bobby graduated from East Newton High School and spent his career working for various companies, including Talbot Wire, MOARK, Farrell Construction, Jim Lauderdale Construction, and Guthrie Machine Shop. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and raising birds such as pigeons, quail, and turkeys. He also enjoyed collecting guns, knives, and a variety of items he knew as treasures, while everyone else knew it as ‘junk’.
A lifelong member of Northside Baptist Church in Neosho, Bobby was especially proud of the moment his 9-year-old granddaughter, Makayla, led her “Grandpa Bob” to salvation. His love for family, faith, and life left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his son, Robert Daniel (Kelly) Peters of Neosho; his brother, Larry (Maxine) Peters of Granby; his beloved granddaughter, Makayla Catherine Peters of Neosho; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and many friends.
A visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home – Granby Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Brad Vickrey will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
