Nolan Howe

Nolan Ray Howe, 85, of Granby, MO, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2025. He was born on December 28, 1939, in Clinton, OK, to Fred and Jennie (Parrish) Howe.

Nolan was united in marriage to Mary Lou (Stipp) on May 28, 1960, in Granby, MO. Together, they spent 46 wonderful years until her passing on December 9, 2006. Nolan was a self-employed sawmiller, fisherman, woodworker, and an all-around handyman. His creative mind allowed him to build anything he could imagine, and over the years, he crafted many elaborate projects that showcased his skill and ingenuity.








Nolan and Mary Lou were blessed with four children: Sherry (Danny) Laughlin of Neosho, MO, Mike (Kathy) Howe of Neosho, MO, Gary Howe of Fair Oaks, CA, and Lisa (Gene) Cook of Port Orchard, WA. Nolan was a proud father and grandfather, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and memories for his children, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Nolan was a graduate of Granby High School. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two siblings: Betty Bonny of Clinton, OK, and Olan Howe of Neosho, MO.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Marjorie Stockton of Clinton, OK, Mary Lou Cleft of Butler, OK, Bill Howe of Clinton, OK, Charles Howe of Ava, MO, and Donald Eugene of Clinton, OK.








Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Granby Christian Church. Interment will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery in Granby, MO.

Nolan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, creativity, and the love he shared with his family will always be remembered.
