Sherry Lynn Carterman of Tulsa, OK passed from this life Monday, March 17, 2025 at Beehive Homes in Glenpool, OK. She was 79.

Sherry was born December 26, 1945 in Miami, OK to Howard and Betty (McCumber) Moss. She grew up in Commerce, OK and graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1964. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK. She had lived in Miami for several years before moving to Grove in 2005 and then to Tulsa. Sherry had worked at St. John’s Medical Center in Joplin, MO as a Registered Nurse. She owned and operated Sherry’s Floral Designs in Commerce, OK. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Commerce, OK.

Sherry was preceded in death by her first husband Dale Bachman, step daughter, Tami Brown and her parents.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Carterman of the home, 2 sons, Troy Bachman and wife Angela of Duncan, OK and Jared Bachman and wife Daylene of Oklahoma City, OK, 1 daughter, Cinamon Demuth and husband Todd of Tulsa, OK and step-daughter Lori Hopp of Lincoln, IL, 2 brothers, Steve Moss and wife Gaye of Shell Knob, MO and Howie Moss and wife Carolyn of Miami, OK, 1 sister, Kathie Hulsey and husband Gene of Commerce, OK, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will have a private service and interment in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book Thursday 9 a.m.– 5 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
