Keith Snyder

Keith Leroy Snyder, 86, Carl Junction, passed away, March 19, 2025, at his home. He was born October 29, 1939, in Asbury, MO, son of the late Phares and Dorothy (Lawver) Snyder.

Keith grew up in Asbury and graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1958. After graduation Keith went to work for his uncle at Snyder Construction, where he retired, known as one of the best blade operators. Keith lived in the Carl Junction area his whole life.








On July 12, 1969, Keith married Terry Lamb in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they raised three sons Christopher, Kent and Brian.

Keith enjoyed his morning coffee with the guys at the Legion. Escaping to his shed where he created bird houses, garden arches, doll houses and even toy size construction equipment from wood. Keith also enjoyed companionship of his fur babies, Hogan and Benji. Keith was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

He attended and was a member of Frisco Church in Webb City and participated in the food pantry.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Terry; son’s, Christopher Snyder, Kent Snyder, and Brian Snyder; sister, Norma Howard, and niece Kelly Borden.

Keith is survived by nephews Mike Howard (Penny) and Joe Borden; nieces, Pam Heide (Scott) and Stacy Coutu (Erik); 4 great nieces; 3 great nephews and 1 great great niece; as well as extended family and friends.







Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Frisco Church, Webb City, with Matt Snyder and Shawn DeGraff officiating. The family invites friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Parker Mortuary in Joplin, MO from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

The family would like to thank Dr. Miller and staff at Freeman Cancer Center and Gentiva Hospice staff, nurse Meghan, and all the other nurses for the care that Keith received.

Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
