Jan Buehlmaier

Jan Carol (Miller) Buehlmaier

Born January 25, 1953, in Dallas, Texas and spent most of her adult life in Longwood, Florida. Jan moved to Joplin, MO in October of 2021.
Jan passed away at the age of 72 on March 12, 2025, peacefully at her home in Joplin, MO.








Jan was a dedicated volunteer at the Medical Loan Closet of Joplin, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, service and compassion. She found joy in helping others, always listening with patience and understanding. Jan had a remarkable ability to determine what people needed, even when they weren't sure themselves. She made countless trips to deliver medical equipment and supplies to residents of Mercy Village and members of the Senior Center in Joplin. Jan's selflessness and unwavering commitment to others will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Jan was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Jan did a celebration of life while she was alive. She did not want a service after passing. She will be cremated, and her resting place will be with her family.

Jan was the daughter of the late James and Annall (Bradburn) Miller. Dear sister of Sheila (Miller) Mitulski (Florida) and the late Margo Miller. Dear mother of son Jason Buehlmaier (Florida) and her late daughter Raynaven Roge. Dear grandmother for her beloved grandson, Hunter Buehlmaier (Florida). Dear Aunt of Cliff and Lisa (Mitulski) Ingari (Florida). Great Aunt to Brandon and Elizabeth Ingari (Florida), Phil Ingari (North Carolina), and Andrew and Alexis (Ingari) Sawyer (Florida).
