Wanda Cobb

Wanda June Cobb, 89, of Neosho, MO, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1935, in Bolivar, MO, to Fred and Grace (Hayes) Rainey.

On November 22, 1952, Wanda married Fred Cobb in Carl Junction, MO. Together, they shared nearly 69 years of marriage until Fred’s passing on November 5, 2021. Wanda's life was filled with love and devotion to her family, always prioritizing them above all else. She was a wonderful cook and also owned and operated The Junebug Cafe south of Neosho for several years, where she made lasting memories with those who visited.








Wanda is survived by her sons, Jimmie (Alice) Cobb and Darrel (Leslie) Cobb, both of Neosho, MO; her sister, Grace Ann Williams of Carthage, MO; her brother, David (Randi) Rainey of Carthage, MO; and her faithful friend, Olive. She was a beloved Ninny to David (Della) Cobb of Neosho, MO, Mindy Adamson of Joplin, MO, Shannon (Shawn) Singler of Pea Ridge, AR, Denean Cobb of Neosho, MO, Dalton (Victoria) Cobb of Neosho, MO, Dylan Cobb of Neosho, MO, Jimmy Joe Cobb of Granby, MO, Rachel (Clay Craig) Cobb of Carthage, MO, as well as 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Cobb; her infant son, Ronald Cobb; son, Randy Cobb; daughter-in-law, Sheri Cobb; her sister, Mary Lou Restivo; and brothers, Benny Rainey, Jimmie Joe Rainey and Donald Ray Rainey.

A visitation for Wanda will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, MO. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, MO. Mark Buzzard will officiate.








Wanda’s memory will live on through her family and friends, whose lives she touched deeply. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
