Carla Criqui

Carla Criqui, age 65, of Monett, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri.

Carla was born on March 20, 1961, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Carl and Wilma (Brown) Swafford. She was united in marriage to Bill Criqui on October 30, 1978.

Carla had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, who held a special place in her heart. She was known for being a wonderful cook and found great joy in preparing meals for her family. More than anything, Carla cherished her children and grandchildren. Her love for them was immeasurable, and they were truly the center of her world.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her devotion to her family, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.

Carla is survived by three sons, Cory Criqui of Hutchinson, Kansas, Klint Criqui of Neosho, Missouri, and Kyle Criqui and his wife Chelsea of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter Kelsey Criqui of Granby, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister Debbie Brown of Grand Prairie, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, and one sister Brenda Swafford.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
