Donna Jean Stross, 63, of Neosho, MO, passed from this life following a short battle with cancer on Friday, April 10, 2026 while at Cox Monett Hospital.
Donna was born on July 11, 1962 in Pensacola, FL, daughter of Robert Richard Stross and Helen Marie (Johnson) Stross. Donna graduated from Joplin High School with the Class of 1980. She worked for many years as a Membership Director for Certified Nurses Assistants.Donna sparked a friendship with anyone she came in contact with. She had a special personality that instantly made you feel comfortable around her. She loved others so much, that on your birthday, she just needed you to pick the flavor of cake. She had a talent and passion for handmaking gifts and custom creations, including recipes and cooking. Any time around Donna was always enjoyed and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her significant other of twenty-two years, Bruce Testerman, of Neosho; one daughter, Heather Welch, of Jasper, MO; her mother, Helen Stross, of Joplin, MO; her brother, Bill Stross (Kim) of Carl Junction, MO; her bonus kids, Shala (Danny), Aaron (Arlien) and Adam; her grandchildren, Abbi, Chloe, Gabe, Lyric, Landon, Haylee (Garrett), Howard (Kylee), Jamey, Lily, Violet and Hailey; and her nephews, Matthew Stross (Michaella) and Aaron Stross (Jayden); as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stross.
Her love in me to time indefinite. Rest in Peace my Honey ~ Bruce Testerman
