(From Ozark Funeral Home)Robert Dale Richmond, age 69, of Goodman, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in the comfort of his home. He was born on May 28, 1956, to the late Dale and Margret (Hall) Richmond, in Wheaton, Missouri. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a hardworking man with a sharp mind, a strong will, and a generous spirit.
Robert graduated from Crowder College and went on to build a life defined by dedication and perseverance. He worked for 10 years as a supervisor at the Bentonville Water and Wastewater Department, where he earned the respect of those around him through his strong work ethic and dependable nature. He also spent 35 years in the HVAC profession.
He was known as a hard worker and a very intelligent man, someone many described as a walking encyclopedia because of the depth of his knowledge and the way he remembered so much about the world around him. He was also determined and strong willed, and after suffering a severe heart attack, he relearned how to do everything with the same grit and resolve that had always guided him.
Robert had a love for travel and enjoyed spending his free time looking at an atlas. He preferred to find his own way and would never use GPS, trusting instead in his own sense of direction and curiosity. He was a die-hard NRA member and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Though he was a quiet and simple man, he also had an ornery side that those closest to him knew well and loved. Beneath that was a very kind heart, and he was admired for the way he cared for others in his own steady and sincere manner.
