Janice Lasiter Long, 71, Neosho, passed peacefully on Sat., June 30, 2018, following a long illness.
Janice was born Dec. 2, 1946 in Neosho, the daughter of Wayne and Wilma (Farmer) Lasiter.
She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a bus driver for the Neosho Public School System.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.
Janice is survived by two sons, James Wiley Hoover and John Wesley Hoover and wife, Sarah of Neosho; one daughter, Christina Nadine Cramer and husband, Harold of Collierville, TN; one sister, Myrna McCrary and husband, Gerald of Neosho; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Billie Jean Parmele, Patsy Joyce Barlow and Vickie Arlene McKinney.
Memorial graveside services will be Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10 am at the Gibson Cemetery in Neosho.
