Amber M. White, 18, Joplin, Mo., entered into rest on Sunday, September 29, 2018 in her home. Amber was born on May 9, 2000 in Joplin, the daughter of Cheryl (Cline) Presley and Coy White Jr. Amber was a lifelong resident of the Joplin area.
During her high school years, she attended and competed in State and National Debate tournaments. Amber was currently employed at Eagle Picher in Joplin. She was a lover of all kinds of animals, music, and enjoyed hiking and spending time walking the trails at the Wildcat Glade Conservation Area.
Amber will be missed by her mother, Cheryl Presley, of Joplin; two brothers, Myran Presley, of Monett, Mo, and Coy White III, of Lucedale, Mississippi; one sister, Ashley Chaney, of Carthage, Mo; Maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Cline, of Pierce City, Mo.; great-grandparents, Louise Cline, of Cabool, Mo. and Betty West, of Rogers, Ar.; Paternal grandmother, Mary Shoemake, of Lucedale, Mississippi; three uncles, James Cline, of St. Louis, Mo., Robbie Cline, of Neosho, Mo., and Tracy Cline, of Broken Arrow, Ok.; three aunts, Carol Cline, of Myanmar, China, Janet Price, of Las Vegas, NV. And Mandy Brewer, of Lucedale, Mississippi; one nephew, Joseph Jones, of Carthage, Mo.; and one niece, Hazel Jones, of Carthage, Mo.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
