Carol Juanita McMeen, age 88, Webb City, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Senior Suites Health care in Broken Arrow, OK.
She was born December 22, 1929 in Raton, N.M. to the late Richard Leroy Spohr and Esther May Edmondson Spohr.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters and one granddaughter, Stacey Joann McMeen, Webb City, MO.
Carol worked as a title clerk for Hogan Land Title Company in Springfield, MO until retiring in 1991. After retiring she moved to Webb City.
She is survived by one brother, Harold Spohr, age 95, Vancouver, WA; one son, Michael McMeen and wife, Judy, Broken Arrow, OK; two daughters, Sheri Garrison, Broken Bow, OK, and Celia Throop and husband, Dave, Webb City; six grandchildren, Shannon McMeen, Amber Gates and husband, Alex, Tulsa, Heather McFarland and Drew Moseley, Broken Bow, Michael Throop, Webb City, Amy Page and husband, Jeramy, Kansas City, MO; nine great grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren, with two more expected within the next month, along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at MT. Hope Cemetery Pavilion, Webb City. Pastor Gene Bebee will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to RoseRock Healthcare and may be left in care of the mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
