Shannon Leroy Burleson, 41 years, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 as the result of a motorcycle accident in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born on December 8, 1977 in Neosho, Missouri to David Leroy and Sharlene Marie (Marshall) Burleson. Shannon enjoyed time spent with family and friends; canoeing, camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
Shannon was preceded in death by his father, David Leroy Burleson; grandparents, Beverly June Marshall, Lois Burleson and Dolphie Burleson.
He is survived by his wife, Cassandra Lee (Allen) Burleson of the home; his mother, Sharlene Carter of Anderson, Missouri; grandfather, Clyde "Paul" Marshall of Anderson, Missouri; his children, Christian Sullivan, Michael Johnson II, Alexis Johnson, Kaden Burleson, Miah Burleson and Kyler Burleson; his siblings, Keith Burleson of Seneca, Missouri, Misti Gricks of Anderson, Missouri and Dennis Batson of Noel, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Shannon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September, 10, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
