Christopher Micheal DeCastro, age 29, Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Freeman West.
Christopher was born June 13, 1987 in Joplin, and graduated from Carl Junction High School in 2005. He earned a certificate in Auto Body Repair from Franklin Tech, and was working for O'Reilly Auto Parts. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother always putting others first. He was an organ donor, so even after his passing, he was still helping others. He loved to participate with his kids' sports, and spending time with his Itus Virtus Underground Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee DeCastro; grandfathers, Fred McVey and Bill DeCastro, and a special aunt, Gwyn Wood.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica; his children, Chelsea, Mitchell, and Brayden; mother, Chris King and step-dad Darrell King; sister, Amanda DeCastro; grandmother, Bonnie "Chris" DeCastro; niece, Preslee Seglie; nephew, Preston Walker, all of Carl Junction; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his brothers and sisters of Itus Virtus.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Christpoint Church, Galena, Kansas.
Friends are gathering at the VFW Hall on North Main, Joplin, at 9:00 a.m. and processing to the church as a group.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
