Earl J. Randleman, age 87, Joplin, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home with family at his side.
Earl was born July 17, 1929 in Milo, Missouri, son of the late Earl Wilson Randleman and Lottie Leota Fox Randleman. He has worked as a mechanic since the age of 14, except for his time serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He has worked on cars and motorcycles all his life with various companies, and retired from R & S Chevrolet. He loved motorcycles; riding, building, and repairing. He rode dirt bikes for years, and won many events over the years. He was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Randleman; son, David Cunningham and wife Rita of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Debra Cunningham of Miami, Oklahoma, and Karen Cunningham of Joplin; six grandchildren, Shaun Heiller and wife Kasey of Miami, Oklahoma, Kent Phillips and wife Anna of Camby, Indiana, Daniel Phillips and wife Ashley of Del Rio, Texas, Isaac Cunningham of Indianapolis, Indiana, Alex Nam of San Antonio, and Vanessa Cunningham of San Antonio; seven great-grandchildren, Tonya, Alexandra, Morgan, Catherine, Parker, Adelaide, and Noah.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Dr. John Swadley officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Forest Park Baptist Church.
