Ashton Ladbasri

Ashton Blaine Ladbasri was born October 8, 2002, in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Steven Arik Barnes and Chadia Ladbasri. He entered into rest on January 1, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri, at age 20. 

Ashton graduated from Nixa High School. He previously sold cars for Reliable Subaru in Springfield and was currently employed as a front-line sales representative for Big Cedar Lodge. 









Ashton enjoyed playing soccer, baseball, football, kayaking, playing video games, and loved sports cars. Most of all, he treasured spending time with his family and friends. Ashton was a Christian and attended church at Calvary Baptist in Neosho, Sweetwater Baptist Church, and most recently, Splitlog Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Steven Arik Barnes of Miami, Oklahoma, and Chadia Ladbasri of Neosho. 

Additional survivors include his maternal grandparents, Samarn and Cynthia Ladbasri of Neosho; paternal grandmother, Gayle Graham; paternal grandfather, Steve Barnes, both of Miami; siblings, Tyler Barnes and his wife, Summer, of Miami, Oklahoma, Kaleb Overton, Pryor, Oklahoma, Carynthia Arnold of Nixa, Missouri, Ethan Barnes of Miami and Krisana Arnold of Nixa; nephew, Elijah Barnes; nieces, Emberly Barnes and Aviyana Ladbasri; maternal uncle, Sean Ladbasri of Neosho; maternal aunt, Renea’ Ladbasri of Portland, Oregon; paternal aunt, April Barnes of Miami, Arin Barrera of Talequah, Oklahoma and extended families, the Arnolds and Andersons of Nixa and Springfield, Missouri.






 

The funeral service for Ashton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho, with Pastor Trent Cook and Pastor Micah Wells officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho.
