Dale Sanders

Dale Dean Sanders of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Dale was born to Denver Franklin and Leota Louise (Shriver) Sanders of Willow Springs, Missouri, on Saturday, April 12, 1941, and later moved with his family to Jasper County, Missouri.

He was self-employed most of his life, owning a marble and granite construction company, raising cattle, farming, and later in life, owning an excavation company. 

He enjoyed improving his property and caring for his cattle, spending time with his family, and he was known for living life on his own terms.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Herbert Dwain Sanders, his sister, Carolyn Kay Sanders; daughter-in-law, Tawni Renee Sanders, sister-in-law, Pamela Sue Sanders, granddaughter, Emma Claire Sanders, and daughter-in-law, Becci Dawn Sanders.

Dale is survived by his former wife, Marilyn Jean; his sister, Sheila Ann Sanders; four sons, Michael Kevin Sanders, Brian Patrick Sanders, Denver Burton Sanders, and Marshall Dwain Sanders; and daughter, Toni Eloise Subia. He is also survived by grandchildren, Austyn Wayne Sanders, Eliah Rhay Sanders, Chloe Grace Sanders, Diego Roberto Subia, Nando Enrique Subia, Sydney Marie Sanders and Denver Truman Sanders; many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
