(From Lawson's Funeral Home)David Lee Pees, age 56 of Grove, OK, originally of Joplin, MO., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home. David was born on June 25, 1966 to James Russell Pees and Josephine Lillian Tullett-Pees in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and riding motorcycles with his best friends Lincoln and Jamie with the Riders of S.W. Missouri. Right out of school David join the Army from 1984 to 1990. David enjoyed time with his wife Michelle Pees, his family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents James Pees and Josephine Pees; son Brandon Pees; brother Eddie Pees and nephew Jimmy Pees.
David is survived by his wife of the home Michelle McCaw-Pees; his children Carrie and husband Brandon Strickland, Taylor (Mick) Gordy, Stephanie and husband Matt Dockery and Derrick and wife Kara Pence; grandchildren Lilly, Andy, Thomas, Gentry, Winsley, Kylee, Emma Allie, Jordan Daylon, Derrick, Farley and Jasper; uncles Richard and Jon; extended family and friends.

David’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
