Vernon Meyer

Vernon Boyd Meyer, 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 30th, 2023, at the VA Hospital. He was born May 31, 1949, in Mullin, Texas to parents Vernon G. Meyer and Jessie Meyer. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Audie Powell. 

Vernon is survived by a sister, Virginia "Ginny" Trumbull; brother, Jerry Meyer; two sons, V.J. Meyer and wife Corie of Prairie Grove, AR and Joey Meyer and wife Desiree of Jane, MO; two daughters, Janelle Doss and husband Jeremy of Fayetteville, AR and Tess Watts and husband Brad of West Fork, AR; 11 grandchildren, Sara Crank, Dallas Meyer, Colt Meyer, Ashley Jackson, Raign Meyer, Rion Meyer, Reid Meyer, Halen Doss-Hughes, Makenna Doss, Kaden Watts, and Ethan Watts; six great grandchildren, Paisley and Elleigh Crank, Kinsley Meyer, Avery and Jaylen Jackson and Wyatt Doss-Hughes, and former wife, Terresa Meyer, who was a dedicated friend and caregiver.

His lifelong career was owning his own paint and body shop. he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching shows on the History Channel, spending time with his dog Jacks, working on cars, and spending time with family at the lake .

Graveside Service: 3:00 pm, Friday, November 3rd, 2023, Rutherford Cemetery, Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
