(From Walnut Lawn Funeral Home)Leonard Max Carter Jr., known to all as Max, was born on June 20, 1973, and went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2026.
Max was a man who loved the outdoors and the simple joys of life. He found peace in hunting and fishing, and his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed helping his sons work on their trucks and cars, and nothing brought him more pride than time spent with his beloved granddaughter Charlotte.
After graduating high school, Max built a lifelong career defined by hard work and dedication. He began driving a concrete truck for K Concrete, later worked for Cameron & Ashley Building Supply, and eventually became a refrigeration technician for RSPC, where he proudly finished his career.
Max is survived by his father, Leonard Max Carter Sr. and wife Kathleen; his two sons, Dakota and wife Madisyn, and Caiden and wife Gracie; his brothers, Delbert and Carl; his sisters, Angie, Connie, and Tori; and his granddaughter, Charlotte.
Max is preceded in passing by his mother, Marianna Carter and her husband Larry Carter.

Max will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and deep love for his family. His warmth and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
