Red Shipman

Red Shipman, age 84 of Duenweg, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 2, 2019 at his home.

He was born June 13, 1935 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Boe and Irene (Tate) Shipman. 

Red worked at Tamko, General Steel, owned his own salvage yard, built horse trailers, loved rodeos and was the first certified welder in three states. His passion was raising and taking care of his horses. 

He married Sleta Fay Conrow on June 11, 1953 and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2014. 

He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Larry, Anthony, Gayland, and Tommie.








Red is survived by one son David Shipman and wife Starla; two daughters, Dini Donoho and husband David, Pam Powers and husband Jeff; five grandchildren, Dustin Shipman and wife Raelynn, Devin Mullen and husband Josh, Dakota Powers, Chelsey Klamm and husband Matt, Danielle Wright and husband Will; two great grandsons, Noah and Jacob and Oliver on the way; one brother Lonnie Shipman; one sister Barbara Landers as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday September 5, 2019 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Randy Wilson minister officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:00 -1:00 Thursday prior to the service. 

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home Webb City, Missouri.
