Ruby L. Clouse, age 77, Neosho, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home with her family supporting her to the end.
Ruby was born June 8, 1942 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, daughter of the late Melvin D. Shuck, Jr. and Ruth E. Richardson Shuck. She grew up in Colorado Springs, and graduated from William J. Palmer High School. She worked for years in the restaurant business in Colorado before moving to Missouri in 2001. After moving here she worked at Sunbeam Products, Jarden Consumer Solutions, and most recently with Best Western Hotel in Neosho.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Sonny" Clouse; and a brother, Thomas Shuck.
Survivors include her children, Lanvard P. Ratliff, Jr. and wife Wendy of Cedartown, Georgia, Darrin C. Ratliff and wife Tonya of Granby, Missouri, Cassondra L. Baldwin and husband Jimmy of Neosho, and Tarra F. Bedell and husband George of Stella, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Cherice A. Ratliff, Zackery W. Ratliff, Marissa A. Ratliff, Dylan P. Ratliff, Jeremy M. Baldwin and wife Sherry, Cheradyn N.. Baldwin, Gavin D. Bedell, Colsie B. Searcy and husband Cooper, Cristy H. Murphy Alvarez and husband Ryan; 10 great-grandchildren, Kharmen R. Baldwin, Rylee M. Bush, Kataligha L. Baldwin, Keggen J. Bush, Taylee J. Scott, Carter L. Searcy, Elaina B. Searcy, Myah B. Alvarez, Kierra R. Alvarez, and Aria Alvarez; brother, Donald Shuck and wife Sue of Colorado Springs; sisters, Ruth Ann Schmoll and husband Ray of Rogers, Arkansas, and Betty Bosch and husband Jim of Colorado Springs; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Monarch Springs Community Building. Family and friends are invited to bring a food item, or make a contribution to help with the dinner in lieu of flowers.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
