Terry Laverne Davis, age 61, Lamar, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.
Terry was born November 10, 1957 in Joplin, daughter of the late Dan Biddlecome and Emma Tanner Newton. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1974, and then attended Missouri Southern State University. She worked for McCune Brooks Hospital, Freeman Hospital, and most recently Jasper County 911 as a dispatcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Perales.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Davis; children, VaNessa Ogle of Rogers, Arkansas, Eric Davis of Lamar, and Jonathan Davis of Wheaton, Missouri; step-daughter, Heather Nuse and husband Zach of Lamar; 12 grandchildren; sister, Charlene Ebener of Joplin; niece, Anna M. Perales of Joplin.
She will be buried with her mother at a later date in Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
